Studio mode: the perfect screen for practice
One click on Studio mode and KeyPitch opens in Chrome's side panel, while the YouTube video switches to theater mode on its own. The video on the left, every control on the right, nothing covering the picture: a layout built for vocal practice — and just as good for any instrument.
Controls
All your usual settings — semitones, pitch, speed, reverb, 8D — plus a 10-band equalizer with 6 presets: Bass Boost, Vocal Boost, Treble Boost, Warm, Bright and Loudness. The A/B loop has been rebuilt too: simpler and more intuitive.
Library
Your songs and folders, as before — and now your loops. Save exactly the chorus you are working on, and at your next session reopen exactly that passage, with the same audio settings.
My space
Your personal practice space: current streak, longest streak, songs practised, practice time and active days. Watch a real routine take shape, and keep improving.
Studio mode is 100% free, like the rest of the extension. Your library and your stats stay in your browser, on your computer.

Fine-tune pitch from 415.3 Hz to 466.2 Hz with 0.1 Hz precision. Perfect for matching instrumental tracks or concert pitch standards.
Speed Control

Customizable Workspace
Rearrange module cards in any order. Place the tools you use most at the top for a workflow that fits the way you work.
Built-in Audio Player
Play, pause, restart, seek with a timeline bar, and skip forward or backward 5 seconds — all without leaving the extension.
Your Personal Library
Never dial in the same settings twice. Save a song with everything you fine-tuned — transposition, pitch, speed, reverb and 8D — then reopen it at your next session and find it exactly where you left it. The equalizer and the A/B loop are now saved too.
Folders for Everything
Sort your saved songs into folders, your way. A teacher can create one folder per student and rename it to their name, so the right material is one click away in the middle of a lesson.
100% Local Storage
Your library lives in your browser, on your own machine — nothing is stored on our side. Close the tab, close the browser, restart your computer or update KeyPitch: your library is still there, unchanged.
Available in Your Language
The KeyPitch popup is fully translated into every language the Chrome Web Store supports, and it follows your browser's language automatically. Nothing to configure — you work in the language you are most comfortable in.
Studio Mode (Side Panel)
Open KeyPitch in Chrome's side panel, right next to your video. YouTube switches to theater mode automatically, so the video and every control share the screen without overlapping — comfortable even in long practice sessions.
10-Band Equalizer
Shape the sound band by band, from the deepest lows to the finest highs, or pick one of 6 presets: Bass Boost, Vocal Boost, Treble Boost, Warm, Bright and Loudness. Bring a vocal line forward to learn it, or a bass line to transcribe it.
Save a Loop, Not Just a Song
Set an A/B loop around the passage you are working on — a chorus, a riff, a bridge — and save it in your library. Next time, it reopens on exactly that passage, with exactly the same settings.
My Space: Your Practice Stats
Current streak, longest streak, practice time over the last 7 days and in total, songs practised, active days: My space shows how your practice is going and helps you build a real routine. Stored only in your browser.
Who Is KeyPitch For?
Used daily by thousands of musicians, singers, and music teachers around the world.
Singers & Vocalists
Transpose any YouTube karaoke track or backing track into the perfect key for your vocal range. Whether you need a lower key or a higher key, KeyPitch lets you shift by semitones in real time so you can sing comfortably without straining. Hundreds of karaoke venues and vocal coaches rely on KeyPitch every day for pitch-perfect performances. In Studio mode, the video stays on the left and every control on the right — the ideal layout for vocal practice — and the Vocal Boost preset brings the voice forward while you learn a melody.
Music Teachers & Voice Coaches
Adapt songs for students of all ages and voice types. Teaching younger students who need higher keys? Transpose instantly. A voice teacher shared that nearly all songs needed to be shifted higher for their younger students — KeyPitch made it effortless, and now every student uses it to practice at home. With My space, students can follow their practice streaks between lessons — a simple way to build a real routine.
Guitarists & Instrumentalists
Slow down a blazing guitar solo with speed control while keeping the pitch stable — essential for learning complex passages note by note. Use loop control to section off a tricky riff and repeat it until muscle memory kicks in. Transpose to match alternate tunings or capo positions without re-tuning your guitar. The equalizer's Bass Boost preset brings out a bass line, and the loop around a riff can be saved so you pick up exactly where you left off.
Pianists & Keyboard Players
Transpose YouTube songs to practice chord progressions in any key. Loop a specific section to work on timing and dynamics. Hundreds of pianists use KeyPitch daily to transpose songs and slow them down for sight-reading practice.
Music Producers & Beatmakers
Preview pitch-shifted samples directly on YouTube before importing into your DAW. Use the Hz-level precision to match reference tracks. Create slow + reverb edits or TikTok speed-up previews in seconds to test creative ideas instantly.
Casual Listeners & Audio Enthusiasts
Love slow + reverb edits? Create them live by reducing speed and adding reverb. Want TikTok-style speed-ups? Just increase the speed. Turn on 8D audio for an immersive spatial experience. Add reverb for a concert-like feel that brings depth and warmth to any song.

Very useful tool for learning songs by ear. One of the best I've used. The recent updates make it even better!
Works great with karaoke videos, transposing music, works great and never had a problem with it and highly recccomend to musicians and singers!
Wonderful, I use it to teach my students, looping and changing keys, congratulations on the tool!!!
Translated by KeyPitch · original language: PortuguêsSuperb app, very effective. I sing, and it's indispensable for adapting songs to my vocal range, for working on my high notes, for example, and for seeing my progress. Really well done and thank you!
Translated by KeyPitch · original language: FrançaisExcellent extension, I mainly use it to transcribe songs on YouTube, but it has also been very useful for changing the key of some tracks.
Translated by KeyPitch · original language: EspañolMeets my all requirements for singing. In my view best pitch changer for Youtube karaoke singing.
Works perfectly: on songs that are tuned lower (Hendrix, Thin Lizzy) I raise the pitch to the max, it's in standard tuning and the sound stays great. Saves a lot of tuning and tuning back.
Translated by KeyPitch · original language: NederlandsThis is the BEST pitch youtuber shifter and nobody knows that. keep updating dev. WE LOVE IT!!
Comparably better than the previous plugin I used for a purpose like this, you don't need to refresh every time you make a little adjustment, it all works fluidly in real time, same of course applies to effects and such! low memory footprint, and honestly I adore just how well thought out and designed the UI/UX are here, alongside the fluidity of the controls, it all feels natural and while I'm sure this can be expanded on further, as it stands, this has a 4.9 out of 5 for a reason- this is a solid extension.
I had been looking for a while for an app or plugin that could change the key of a track / karaoke live, and this one does it quite well. There are other very good applications, but they don't do it in real time, that is, at the moment a video is streaming on screen. 10 out of 10!
